In 2003, the Arkansas Legislature made a commitment to expand early childhood education to serve low-income three and four year old children in areas at high risk for academic failure with high quality pre-k services. This expansion, known as the Arkansas Better Chance for School Success, has become the state pre-kindergarten program.

LBCEC is a Better Beginnings provider. Better Beginnings ’ goal is to ensure that all children in Arkansas have access to quality child care and the opportunity to start kindergarten with a solid foundation from which to continue their education.
LBCEC accepts Childcare Assistant Vouchers from the Office of Early Childhood Education.
LBCEC Child USDA Nutrition Programs
LBCEC proudly participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to ensure that every child in our care receives nutritious, balanced meals and snacks each day. This USDA-funded program supports healthy growth and development by promoting good eating habits from an early age.
